 rtyards. It is the month when swings are hung from the mango trees and chil
 dren joyously swing. It is the golden month when people receive new clothes
  as gifts. It is the month when farmers plant seeds\, work the fields\, and
  harvest golden crops. During this golden month of Chingam\, Malayalees wor
 ldwide\, over 35 million of them\, celebrate Onam\, Kerala's national festi
 val\, transcending caste\, religion\, wealth\, and poverty. The Liverpool M
 alayalee Association\, LIMA\, is celebrating Onam in grand style in Liverpo
 ol on September 21\, welcoming King Maveli to the land of Mamala\, Kerala.\
