 n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout WMC\n\n\n\nThe Wirral Malayalee Community (WMC) is a c
 ultural organization established by Malayalee/Keralites residing in and aro
 und Wirral. Its inception dates back to 2021 when a significant influx of t
 his community migrated to the UK in response to the government’s initiati
 ve to address staffing shortages within the National Health Service. Over t
 he years\, the community in Wirral has experienced substantial growth\, ref
 lected in the burgeoning membership of WMC.\n\n\n\nPresently\, WMC holds a 
 prominent position among Malayalee associations in the UK\, representing a 
 collective dedicated to fostering and preserving ethnic cultural heritage. 
 Furthermore\, WMC has made notable strides in integration within the broade
 r British community\, a testament to its commitment to social cohesion and 
 inclusivity.\n\n\n\nThe Wirral Peninsula (/ˈwɪrəl/)\, known locally as T
 he Wirral\, is a peninsula in North West England. The roughly rectangular p
 eninsula is about 15 miles (24 km) long and 7 miles (11 km) wide\, and is b
 ounded by the Dee Estuary to the west\, the Mersey Estuary to the east\, an
 d Liverpool Bay to the north.\n\n\n\nHistorically\, the Wirral was wholly i
 n Cheshire\; in the Domesday Book\, its border with the rest of the county 
 was placed at “two arrow falls from Chester city walls”. However\, sinc
 e the Local Government Act 1972\, only the southern third has been in Chesh
 ire\, with almost all the rest lying in the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral\
 , Merseyside. An area of salt marsh and reclaimed land adjoining the south-
 west of the peninsula lies in the Welsh county of Flintshire.
